El objetivo de la investigación tuvo como finalidad identificar si existe influencia conjunta entre la gestión del emprendimiento y la innovación sobre el rendimiento de las pymes mexicanas. El diseño metodológico fue cuantitativo, explicativo, observacional y transversal. Para ello, se tomó de 407 jóvenes emprendedores de las pymes del estado de Guanajuato, México. De acuerdo con los hallazgos, la gestión del emprendimiento y la innovación influyeron de manera positiva y significativa sobre los resultados de la empresa. Asimismo, la gestión del emprendimiento influyó positiva y significativamente sobre la innovación.

The objective of the research was to identify if there is a joint influence between the management of entrepreneurship and innovation on the performance of Mexican SMEs. The methodological design was quantitative, explanatory, observational and transversal. To do this, it took 407 young entrepreneurs from SMEs in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. According to the findings, entrepreneurship and innovation management had a positive and significant influence on the company’s results. Likewise, the management of the enterprise positively and significantly influenced innovation.
